The Old Post Office is a two bedroom cottage in the middle of Chatton, a quiet stone village in north Northumberland. It sleeps four in two bedrooms with one bathroom, and it is set up for proper slow stays as well as short breaks.
Inside you will find a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. The main living room has a log burner for the colder months, a Smart TV, and a dining area. A second reception room provides a quiet place to read and relax and a work space if you need to stay connected. There is a kingsize bed in the master bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds. Towels and bed linen are provided, there is a washing machine and iron for longer stays, and heating and Free Wi-Fi throughout.
Outside there is a terrace for morning coffee and free parking on site, so you can leave the car and walk to the excellent village pub and the local shop. Chatton is an excellent base for Alnwick, Chillingham, Wooler and the Cheviots, as well as Bamburgh, Seahouses and the rest of the stunning Northumberland coast which are only a short drive away.
