Bedrooms
Master Bedroom: Spacious and light-filled with a king-size bed and luxury Egyptian cotton bedding and a John Lewis velvet bedspread.
There are blackout curtains and ample storage. On the walls are original artworks and prints.
Second Bedroom: Twin beds with the same hotel-quality bedding and storage.
Towels are supplied for each guest.
A cot & high chair are available upon request.
Living Spaces
There are two comfortable living rooms: One with a log-burner (a basket of logs and kindling are provided), Smart TV, books, and games. There is a dining area with seating for four and an extensive collection of local guidebooks, walking and cycling maps, novels, and children’s books.
The second living room is perfect for reading or remote work with a desk & electric log burner for added cosiness. .
Kitchen
A modern, well-equipped kitchen featuring a
dishwasher, ( dishwasher tablets supplied) oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, and fridge with freezer compartment.
(A second fridge can be found in the storage cupboard if more space is required)
There are oak worktops and high-quality cooking equipment.
A caffetiere is available for fresh coffee

A modern bathroom with an electric shower.
Outdoor Spaces
To the rear is a large deck with an outdoor sofa, table and chairs – perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing with a book. The back of the house receives afternoon sun.
The pretty, flower-filled front garden has bistro seating and is a tranquil spot for breakfast in the morning sun.
There is secure bike storage and ample free parking at front and rear
Dog Friendly
We love dogs and welcome yours with open arms. The secure deck is perfect for your pup, and we provide dog essentials including bowls , towels, poo bags and treats. The nearby countryside and beaches are a dog walker’s paradise.
Location & Local Amenities
Chatton is a quiet, picturesque village which is filled with birdsong. It is just a 2-minute walk to an excellent local pub, The Percy Arms, which serves lovely, locally sourced food.( booking advised) There is also a well-stocked village shop. Supermarket delivery is available from Sainsburys and Asda.
Nearby are all the highlights of a holiday in Northumberland, including Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses, with its Farne Island boat trips, Holy Island, Alnwick, Craster, Wooler, The Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland National Park
Northumberland’s best beaches, castles, walks, and wildlife are all within easy reach.
Day trips to Edinburgh possible via Alnmouth or Berwick train stations

Built around 1800 The Old Post Office is full of character, yet modern, warm and comfortable.
